Position Overview

Manage the overall daily operations of the business and related businesses, primarily working with customer order processing and invoicing, ordering supplies, basic bookkeeping, inventory management, data entry and deal management, research, regulatory management and related paperwork, general customer inquiries, customer relationship management, social media management, and other tasks as requested.

Job Requirements

  • Administrative:

    • Order processing: log customer orders in systems, communicate with customers regarding lead-
      times and other notifications, order raw materials and other supplies, help schedule production and
      cleaning, invoice customers, onboard new customers.

    • Other: research technical information as needed, find and procure supplies, schedule meetings and
      events, book travel and accommodations, maintain various corporate calendars, respond to website inquiries, resolve general customer inquiries for information and documentation, and help President with personal tasks as needed.

  • Business Management:

    • Manage and send regular newsletters to customers and prospects.

    • Attend local meetings with colleagues when needed.

    • Find prospective customers on digital platforms and create social media posts.

  • Operations:

    • Manage basic HR functions for employees.

    • Help implement and manage a quality program and certification.

    • Help with management of core operations including, but not limited to inventory, forecasting, data
      entry, paperwork, accounting, production management, management of fulfillment, maintenance schedules, contractor management, imports, exports, and contracts—and be willing to contribute light physical labor when needed to help accomplish these tasks.

 

Qualifications

  • Technology: Email (Gmail) proficiency, comfortability using Microsoft Excel and basic online applications, experience in Quickbooks and/or Salesforce is a bonus.

  • Personality: Detail oriented, ability to communicate effectively, conscientious follow-up on outstanding / unresolved items, flexible outlook on work and duties, a “roll up your sleeves” mentality, and friendly.

  • Operations: Ability to manage simultaneous processes at once.

  • Experience: Ability to effectively plan ahead and anticipate general business needs, previous administrative

Position Overview

Fulfill customer orders through blending, packaging, and shipping—and help maintain the facility and operations.

Job Requirements

With limited supervision (after training):

  • Regular Responsibilities:

    • Receive, document, and properly store incoming inventory.

    • Alert management of low supplies and raw ingredients for purchasing.

    • Blend dry ingredients in industrial blenders.

    • Package powders in bulk containers and/or finished packaging.

    • Enter data and complete light paperwork for each customer order.

    • Maintain equipment.

    • Clean equipment and general facility area.

    • Help maintain the facility overall.

  • Other Tasks:

    • Help manage product inventory.
